Over the past year my career has advanced leaps and bounds. As a young physician just starting my career, I felt that I had more dues to pay and experiences to garner before any career advancements took place. But God said, “You are ready NOW, I’ll enlarge your territory, just learn as you go.” I don’t have to have it all together to take a step. I am enough right now.
In the past 12 months I have become lead physician at a brand new multi-specialty center, voted in as Vice Chief of Primary Care for my hospital system, appeared multiple times on national live television as the Medical Expert Correspondent, became a motivational speaker and was cast as a Model Bride in the 2019 Georgia Bridal Show Tour.
If you have a desire and work ethic, your dreams are yours. You don’t have to fit into a box either. You can have multiple dreams and accomplish them all. Do it even if you’re scared. I am. If not you then who? If not now then when?!
