One thing I learned as a photographer is that every so often you must do a shoot just for you to push your creative juices a little further. Creative Sessions are also great for your clients to see your potential as a photographer to go outside of the “safe” routine of posing, wardrobe, location etc. I was super excited my friend Tiffany agreed to model for me in her 9th month for a maternity session, just about a week or two before her due date. I planned out the entire shoot including her wardrobe, which is a gorgeous embroidered gown from ASOS Maternity line and I made a flower crown with fresh hydrangea flowers to complete the look.
I made a little road trip north to the cutest college town of Athens, GA, home to the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) and the beautiful UGA Botanical Gardens. I was super excited to learn about the gardens and that it was free for anyone who cares to visit. We had an amazing time getting barefoot in the plush grass and soaking up all of what surrounded us. Tiffany looked amazing in her gorgeous gown and beautiful red flowing hair surrounded by beautiful light surrounding her.
